    May Jackson Empty May Jackson

Post by Chibi Fri Apr 06, 2012 10:30 pm

    Name:May Jackson.

Age:So far only 3 years in Memory.

    Gender:Female.

    Height:About 160cm.

    Weight:65Kg.

    Hair Color:Blonde.

    Eye Color:Blue.

Notable Physical Qualities:None that can be seen when fully clothed.

Smoker/Drinker/Drugs:She has no need for any of this substances to obtain nourishment, not even food.

Personality:As a machine, she lacks most of what many would consider personality, obeying orders without question- even going so far as to murdering innocents without any hesitation.

Despite the above, she believes herself to be the daughter of the famous Kenneth Jackson, habit which is often reinforced by the others, including Ken himself. When interacting with him she seems to play this role accordingly: Being affectionate and caring for the man like a loving daughter.

Besides him, May also choses to interact with the scientists and engineers responsible for her existence and maintenance, maintaining a rather friendly attitude towards them or others she deems important.

To everyone else she is an emotionless machine, often refusing to make any kind of conversation. Even to those she talks to May is rather uninteresting- lacking much in the way of likes, dislikes and opinions- she instead sees everything logically or in a way she can relate it to her limited fields of expertise.

Despite being mostly governed by a carefully programmed CPU she shows some signs of independence, perhaps a shred of humanity left in her. This allows her to take initiative and otherwise make rational decisions on her own.

Fears/Phobias:The only thing she fears is misfortunes befalling her father. Anything other than this will not do so much as to make her flinch.

Other Characteristic Flaws: As an android with little experience in the world one couldn't exactly consider her very intelligent: She is prone to misunderstanding dialogue that is not grammatically perfect or that doesn't use the literal meaning of things- this includes most informal expressions.

She is mentally mostly a child, not understanding many facts of reality despite having access to vast databases of information. This makes it really complicated for her to deal with missions that may involve social interaction or investigation without any company.

Finally she is but a tool bound to the wills of others. Whatever human features of her mind are bound to the programming first of all, making it impossible for her to disobey or otherwise betray her superiors.

    ----------------------------

    Power Set:

Individual Powers:First and foremost she is an android. This carries a plethora of advantages and disadvantages over common human beings such as:

    - Though her body appears like that of a human she functions quite differently. Her physical abilities are applied with mechanical strength instead of human muscle. Her strength and agility appear beyond those of humans though her small frame limits the force she can apply without damaging herself.

    - Her mind is a computer, carrying many advantages over the regular human brain, though it appears her human qualities may indeed be the result of brain tissue in her body. She is capable of doing mathematical calculations, searching for information and otherwise devising plans and strategies in mere moments even while in pressure or rushed. Her calculations allow her actions to be perfectly precise, thereby eliminating all human "error".
Being governed by a computer also makes her completely immune to all mind-affecting abilities or compulsions. She can discern illusions from reality automatically.

    - Her sensory organs are supported by computerized scanners. The way she perceives the world around her is totally different from a living creature's. At all times she can instantly intuit the exact position of objects that she can see or hear, being able to quickly obtain information from these. Her range is superior to that of humans but by no means extreme.

    - At nearly all times she is connected via satellite to her headquarters while also possessing a vast memory bank. Anything hat she perceives can be recorded and fed to her superiors thus enabling a communication channel with them where she can receive any information she requires.

    - The way May functions is through a vast network of nanomachines all throughout her body. Every nanomachine can quickly reprogram itself to serve a different function at will. They travel through a plasma-like liquid that composes the insides of her body.

Other than her robotic traits, May has other unique abilities:

    - She may shapechange easily. The nanomachines that suppoer her body may force her into any desired shape of roughly equal volume to her body. These can also change her coloration and the density of tissue. She can't turn into complicated shapes or other mechanical devices but anything from a puddle of liquid to an entirely different person are possible.

    - As a result of the shapechanging, she can even separate into different pieces each with individual control not unlike a hive-mind. She cannot be separated for more than 30 minutes and each cannot be separated a considerable distance from another before becoming inert. This means that cutting or piercing her body is not fatal for the girl, making her highly resistant to non-energy attacks.

How your character acquired her powers:Most of her mechanical traits have been there since her mechanical existence began. Through the years, engineers of the Jackson Global Conglomerate have upgraded her body, most with combat-oriented features. Originally she was mostly harmless but she has since become more of a weapon.

    Notable Flaws with Power set:
As any human creation she does not function unlimitedly or for free. May needs electricity to function which mostly has to be recharged at her headquarters. She is capable of generating energy herself from other sources but it is far less efficent and quite slow.

Being an electronic device means she is subject to short circuits and susceptible to strong electric currents. Though her skin is a capable insulator, an electric current that reaches her insides can quickly disable her. The same can be said for strong electromagnetic fields that will also render her helpless.

The nanomachines inside her rest in a warm liquid that permits both their movement and communication. If subject to very low temperatures this liquid will become incapable of supporting them, forcing the girl to shut down until she retains an acceptable temperature.

    ----------------------------

    Nationality:Australian.

Occupation:Personal Bodyguard and assistant of Kenneth Jackson. She is also often used as an enforcer and assassin for the the JGC.

    Background Information:
An android from the JGC created soon after they established control over the military. She is perhaps the only successful post-war military project achieved so far. The reasons to why she has the appearance of a human teenage girl or believes herself to be the daughter of CEO Kenneth Jackson are a mystery to all not involved in her creation.

It appears that she is not truly a simple construct and exhibits human-like traits sometimes, hinting that perhaps she was once a regular human being.

Being used for mostly hostile operations as of late May is trained in the use of many weapons and vehicles, including several high tech 21st century arms. The low availability of these is what makes her mostly utilize conventional firearms.

Life Experiences:Her memory banks only go a few years back giving her a rather short biography. Though created with military technology she saw no combat during the first months of her life which consisted simply of her posing as a daughter figure for Kenneth Jackson. She was loved and treated like a real daughter then, truly she felt happy during those times.

As time passed, however, the relationship with her father began to decay. Though she was still acknowledged as his daughter perhaps the man had realized she was just a machine. Since then the scientists have been allowed to further experiment with her, slowly turning her into what she is now: A weapon. Still, her love for her father remains completely unchanged and she still maintains the memories of those beloved peaceful times.
